Authentic "Sparky Adams Special" Spalding bat.
32" long - 38 ounces
The knob is chipped in two places, and the shaft shows the normal dings and chips.
There is also a 12" flat spot on the barrel where part of the wood has peeled off,
and also a 4" flat spot near Adams' endorsement signature.
Nice circular Spalding baseball trademark logo center brand, with 'SPARKY ADAMS' along the top of the perimeter of the bordered circle, 'SPECIAL" at the bottom, and his signature endorsement on the barrel of the bat, which is partially worn. The knob still has a very light Spalding trademark also.
Earl J. "Sparky" Adams played over 1400 games in 13 seasons, including the 1930 World Series.

He was a longtime resident of Tremont PA, Schuylkill County PA, and passed away in 1989.
