This is the class ring of William Wayne Hindman, the Valedictorian

of the final graduating class of Gettysburg Academy in 1935.

Clearly engraved "W.W.H. Jr."

Hindman was raised in Baltimore MD but lived out his remaining years in Philadelphia PA.

The ring is in VG condition. Please review all of the photos.

This class ring is considered a historical artifact from the school. The ring is a gold colored metal with a blue stone. A medallion depicting the main building sits atop the blue stone. It reads, "Gettysburg Academy." The shank of the ring has the date "19" on one side and "35" on the other.

Measures as a size 6.25 on a ring mandrel. Note that the ring might fit differently from the mandrel size due to style and width of band. The ring looks like it might have been sized down. Made by "Elliott Phila" which I believe no longer exists. It is not hallmarked. It might be gold filled, rolled gold, or a gold plate.
