Program from a game played Sept 22, 1972, Montreal Expos vs Pittsburgh Pirates,

at Three Rivers Stadium. The Pirates had already clinched the division, so they made

several call ups from the minors. One player was pitcher Jim McKee of Columbus Ohio.

This was his second major league game, and he recorded his first (and only) major league win in the Pirates

extra inning victory.   Records of the game reveal that McKee pitched the 10-11-12 innings for the win.

He eventually would appear in 17 games with the 72-73 Pirates.

The image of McKee below was found online.

HISTORIC NOTE: Roberto Clemente recorded his 2994th career hit in this game. His 3000th and final hit came 8 days later against the NY Mets

The program is in VG condition, with a couple of small stray ink marks on the covers.

The scoresheet has a couple of cut outs but this does not affect the lineups.

Interesting to note, the fan who kept score only did so until the bottom of the 9th inning, so McKee's

name does not appear on the scoresheet, nor is his name and number on the printed roster.

I was able to locate a partial news clipping and box score for your review below.
