Original composite of the 1921 class of Sunbury High School, Northumberland County, Sunbury PA.
The composite was created with original photos of each graduating student,
very neatly trimmed to perfection, and placed together on a very heavy stock backing.
With the tedious work that would have gone into this composite,
it's clear this would have been a one-of-a-kind project.
It measures 24 x 18 and is in EX condition overall.
To confirm the location, a view of the school was found in the 1924 Sunbury yearbook, and also a 1906 postcard.
Buildings are identical to the photo of the school in the composite.
These extra items are NOT included with the sale.
I have added a newspaper clipping from the Mt Carmel Item, May 26, 1921.
The article mentions the number of graduates as "79" although the composite shows only "76." I am assuming the Valedictorian "Effie Rarig" is in there somewhere.
