Original 1837 indenture document concerning property in Peebles Township (Pittsburgh) sold by

Thomas + Rebecca Davison to William McCombs for $100.00.   The location does mention this was the

"Francis Bailey plan of lots."     This may be the present East Liberty.

Thomas Davison (1794-1874) married Rebecca Turner (1812-1892) in 1833 and became a very well known Justice of the Peace.

William McCombs (1803-1854) was a minister according to his death registration.

The document is currently in 3 horizontal sections and has discoloration issues as well.

It has been neatly and carefully secured with tape (on the reverse ONLY) so it may be handled if necessary.
