Rare (and original) roster and seating chart
from the Dec 7, 1937 event at the famous Bellevue Stratford Hotel in Philadelphia, to honor the fantastic season by the Villanova football team.

This amazing item opens up to approx 21 x 16 and lists every guest in alphabetical order with their seating assignment on one side, and seating diagram on the other. Would look great in a frame.
Overall in Vg condition. It does show some minor stains and numerous folds.
There are some handwritten notes which I have not yet been able to decipher. 
I noticed there are two tables of VIPs designated as "Dais" and "Sub Dais."
Based on the seating assignments, these tables were reserved for the football players, coaches, celebrities, etc.
Please take a look at some of the closeups. One name in particular is coach "Clipper" Smith, who is sitting
at the main "Dias" table. The players appear to all be sitting at the "Sub Dias" table.
I have researched others sitting at the VIP table. They include former Philadelphia Athletics star Jimmy Foxx, Mayor William F. Casey, football coach Harvey Harman, football coach/player Bill Hollenback, Villanova coach and former player Doc Jacobs, ex football player and coach "Big" John Macklin, ex Notre Dame football player "Rip" Miller,
Olympic star Lawson Robertson, Villanova grad and basketball coach Alex Severance, Villanova benefactor William Simpson.  I am sure there must be many, many other local VIPs who were relegated to sit in regular seating.
I was able to find a couple of news clippings concerning this huge event.
