featuring rookie Tony Piet of the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Born in Berwick PA, Piet played for 4 teams over 8 seasons in the majors.
He was a starter for one season (1932) then becoming
a utility infielder and pinch hitter for the remainder of his career
with Chicago, Cincinnati and Detroit.
My guess is there are not too many pics of him out there,
let alone a great full uniform pose (as a rookie) like this one.
