Interesting lot of WWI correspondence from Pvt William J. Kelly
of Brighton (Boston) Massachusetts.
There are 9 items which will be described below.
Kelly was the son of Michael J. Kelly and Katherine Kelly.
According to various clippings and address on the postcards, the family lived at 283 Market Street,
Brighton, a suburb of Boston MA.
William Kelly was first a member of the 14th TR Battalion, Field Artillery Replacement Depot (FARD),
then transferred to the 147th Headquarters Company of the 32nd Division.
He married "Mary Lillian Dwyer" (also of Brighton)
after the war and settled in as a Steam Fitter with the Boston Fire Dept.
He passed away in 1931 due to a cerebral hemorrhage at the age of 40.
The items included in this lot are the following:

This is the brother of William Kelly, who also served overseas.
He has written to his father, but has addressed to himself.
(9) Real photo postcard of 5 servicemen c. 1919.
Most likely one of the five is William Kelly.
Comparing this to the photo in the news clipping, in my opinion it is the man on the far right
