This is the 1948 Beaver Falls High School football team.
It's an original photo, not a modern day print.
Turns out these are the senior members of the team for the Class of 1949.
(The 1948 team played in the fall of 48 and thus graduated in summer of 49)
I looked up four of the players in the 1949 yearbook and was able to confirm.
The photo is B & W and measures 10 x 8-1/4.  It remains in good condition with some little creases and wrinkles from handling over the years.
It is stamped on the reverse "Paul R. Schell" a well known sports photographer for the Beaver Falls Tribune
for many years.
