Historic Titanic postcard with April 30, 1912 postmark with clear
Fall River MA cancel approx 2 weeks after the disaster.
The correspondence is addressed to Clarence Ochampaugh.
The Ochampaugh family were long time residents of Fall River.
Clarence had left Fall River to attend school in California.
The postcard was most likely sent by is parents Arthur + Lizzie (A.E.O + L.A.O).
There is also a personal hand stamp "C.L. Ochampaugh"
The postcard is in VG condition - some wrinkles and a little edge wear
"Dear Clarence - I came near writing 146 Riverview on here. We were pleased with your card.
It must be lonely out there. It is colder than Greenland here. Am glad you had such a good time going.
Have you started school yet? A.E.O + L.A.O."
