1854 John H. Cutter signed letter bourbon maker Hollis New Hampshire
Original signed letter by well known bourbon maker John H. Cutter, longtime resident of Hollis, New Hampshire.
Writing to his business agent and attorney Henry C. Thacher of Boston on Sept 8, 1854, Cutter explains he could not go to Boston
because he had to take his son to New Haven to be "trotted into college."
He also tells Thacher to "fetch" one hundred dollars and invites him to Sabbath with detailed directions to his residence.
Nice Cutter signature.
Please review various research (not included with sale) below as well as a transcription of the letter.
The letter and original stampless cover remain in Vg condition.
