Apparently this police baton was presented to Ben Roethlisberger by the Chief of Police, Kansas City Missouri
in November of 2009.   Per the clipping below, Roethlisberger's foundation made an $8000 donation to the police force for a new police dog.
This is an authentic very heavy duty, solid wood police baton
The riveted tin tag has the facsimile signature of Chief of Police James Corwin.
