This is "The Sketch Book" by Washington Irving, 1906,
one of the Lake English Classics that was common in many schools in the early 1900s.
This particular book was used in the Oil City (PA) School District.
Oil City hand stamped inside cover with penciled name of student "Cora Peavy."
Overall in good acceptable condition - some discoloration inside covers -
some scribbling on blank page in back
Content inside is good - spine is strong - normal expected wear on covers
