Very old framed Union Cavalry Commanders of the Civil War.
Took several hours to determine where these images were first printed.
We are 99% sure they were included in the 1881 book entitled "Pictorial History of the Great Civil War" by John Laird Wilson.  They are original and we are estimating they were most likely framed between
1890-1910. 
The wood frame is in good condition despite it's age.   The cardboard is slightly loose with a few of the
original nails still intact.  We would not recommend hanging it as-is.
The glass is in EX condition without cracks or chips.  
We noticed some very old tattered discolored paper under the backing.
The frame measures 15 x 10.
