This is an original ticket from the "Moose Solters Testimonial Game" held at Forbes Field in Pittsburgh.
The event took place July 9, 1951.
Solters was a lifelong resident of Pittsburgh (Hazelwood) and played for various teams until his forced retirement in 1943.
During a pregame warmup on Aug 2, 1941, he was struck in the head by an errant throw and later became totally blind.
