Original ticket stub from Milwaukee Braves @ Pittsburgh Prates game, May 31, 1958 at Forbes Field Pittsburgh.
With Warren Spahn pitching, the Braves beat the Pirates 8-3.
Hank Aaron, Eddie Mathews, and Wes Covington hit "back to back to back" homeruns in the first inning off pitcher Ronnie Kline.
This was labeled the "Boom Boom Boom" game, back in the day, and was considered a monumental achievement in 1958.
According to the Pittsburgh news account, the feat was accomplished on three consecutive pitches.
I was able to find an image of the three players, likely taken during the 58 season,
as well as a photo of Aaron and Mathews holding three baseballs. Not sure of the individual on the left.
