Original real photo postcard depicting a group of WWI soldiers in camp at Plattsburg NY, 1917.
Although only signed "Will" we determined this is definitely "William A. Walsh" writing to his sister "Louise"
back home in Lewiston ME. According to his correspondence he is pictured in the photo, which we may have id'd with the research conducted.
He references Memorial Day and a baseball they are watching. We actually found information on this game as well as other events of the day.
Also review some of Mr. Walsh's Bates College info with fine photos, and an obituary of 1972.
Perhaps you can ID Walsh by comparing college and service photos.
He became a well known Massachusetts dentist.

The postcard is in VF condition with one corner crease.
Dear Lou:
Can you find me in the picture? The snapshot was taken Memorial Day at the game on the parade grounds.
The picture is poor but I thought I would send it just the same. Will
