Very rare ORIGINAL cabinet photo of an unidentified soldier with the 15th PA regiment (Co B)
from Meadville PA. As indicated on the reverse in period ink, this photo was
taken at Sheridans Point VA on Aug 7, 1898.  Nice full body pose.
The regiment was formed around the Pennsylvania National Guard and consisted of 8 companies
mainly from Western PA. Company B was formed in Meadville PA.
The photo remains in VG condition, but missing the top right corner which does not detract.
The photo is much clearer than I can present here.
The overall size is 5-1/2 x 5-1/2.
The research items are NOT included with the sale of the cabinet photo,
but the buyer is welcome to print them.
