An original program from an important track meet between
Notre Dame and the Michigan Aggies that took place on May 13, 1916.
This meet featured the great ND athlete Alfred "Big Dutch" Bergman from Peru Indiana.
Bergman received 11 Varsity letters which is a record that will never be broken at Notre Dame.
The only athlete to earn 4 letters in one year TWICE.
He played with the Cleveland Indians just four months after this
meet, appearing in 8 games.
Later served in WWI.
