Pair of original photos featuring the 1949 Beaver Falls High School football team.
One photo of the senior members of the team (Class of 1950) posing on the field.
The second photo was taken at the end of season banquet, showing
the players and coaches.
I looked up four of the players in the 1950 yearbook and was able to confirm.
There is even a photo in the yearbook from this banquet (see my image)
Easy to find the same players on the field and at the banquet.
For example, #23 kneeling on the far right in uniform
is also seen standing in top right at the banquet.
Behind him can be viewed a 1949 Beaver Falls signed banner with partial "Tigers."
I have several Beaver Falls football programs which also was helpful.
The photos are B & W and measure 10 x 8-1/4.  They remain in good condition with some little creases and
 wrinkles from handling over the years.
Both are stamped on the reverse "Paul R. Schell" a well known sports photographer for the Beaver Falls Tribune
for many years.
