Rare lot of 12 BW snapshots taken in 1922 at the Pope School, St. Louis.
Several scenes in classroom as well as some outdoor activities.
All appear to be taken in the Fall of 1922.  A Christmas tree is present in one photo and a Halloween dress up day in another.
The students and location are unidentified but photos are clearly marked "Pope School."
We did notice a 1922 calendar in the background and printed by "T. Kuehne."
Also in one photo a sign for the "Leonori Moving & Storage" business is clearly visible, and this
photo is marked "in front of Pope School."
This business was confirmed as being near the school at Grand & Leclede Ave in St. Louis.
As for the Pope School, we understand it was originally located at 29th & Laclede, and relocated several times.
It appears the school was and later defunct by 1924.
The photos were removed from an old album, and do have black paper remnants on front and back.
They remain in VG condition.
